2022 marked another transformative year for Dubai Investments. It has been a year through which the Group strengthened its businesses and will continue to roll out strategic tactics, aimed at maintaining consistent growth while enhancing resilience for the long-term future and creating value across the business ecosystem.
As a Group, Dubai Investments will continue to channelize its efforts towards capitalizing on the incredible opportunities the region has to offer. The exceptional performance during the year has been a result of unlocking value through the divestment of a 50% stake in EMICOOL. Strategic investments and planned divestments are expected to play a key role in enhancing diversification and taking the Group to the next level.
The company’s core real estate sector, manufacturing, contracting, and services segment has also continued its impressive performance. With the real estate market demonstrating notable performance this year at the back of market-friendly policies and initiatives, Dubai Investments’ new upcoming project Danah Bay is another addition to the Group’s real estate portfolio and marks foray into a new emirate.
The Group aims to drive growth and success, backed by an exceptional workforce, stronger stakeholder relationships, and ongoing digital transformation pursuits, thereby enhancing business relationships. At the same time, it is important to take a well-guarded approach to each step we take as we steer through a period of turbulence and unpredictability.

The X2 is a two-seater electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft that is lifted by eight propellers - two at each corner of the vehicle, equipped with an intelligent flight control system and autonomous flight capabilities, X2 is the latest generation of flying cars. 2023 will be a historic year for the UAE. The country is going to host the 28th session of the Conference of Parties (COP 28) to the UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change). Though the dates have not been officially announced, some sources say the event will begin on November 30, 2023, and end on December 12, 2023.
According to Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Special Envoy for Climate Change, COP28 coincided with the UAE national day, and will be a global event with participation from more than 80,000 delegates, including 140 heads of state and government, and more than 5,000 media professionals.
